Spring has sprung and we’ve had a great start to our new term.
It’s been a while since I sent you a newsletter, but there have been some changes backstage.
I have just left my job with the local council, so that means I now have more time to devote to developing great resources for our classes and to marketing the classes in a bit more orderly fashion.
Part of this development will be a new website and also a new logo, which I am looking forward to sharing with you all very soon.
Mondays @ Morpeth
We now have 2 classes at Morpeth Methodist Church on Mondays:
Both classes have a lovely feel and everyone has integrated well together. I’d like to say welcome to all new learners.
In the classes we have been looking at health and different activities
Wednesdays @ Whitley Bay Big Local
This year we have settled into our new venue of the Big Local and it is great to be part of a community initiative like this. We have been working on the theme of health and have been developing conversation skills.
Wednesdays @ Seaton Sluice
This is the room we use for our classes at Seaton Sluice Community Centre. It is a lovely room (when it’s not cluttered with my stuff!) and provides a lovely learning environment.
Thursdays @ Morpeth
Our advanced conversation class has welcomed several new learners and we have discussed topics as diverse as history, arguments and emotions.
We are also progressing through our book “Le liseur du 6h27” by Paul Didierlaurent
